2022- Rocky Mountain Parkour Championships
In 2022, I founded The Rocky Mountain Parkour Championships - a recreational youth parkour league exclusively serving the community of Colorado Springs.

This is a culmination of 3 important things:
BS in Business from UCCS - providing me with the leadership and business know-how to execute a business plan.
Managing the Flipshack Urban Gym Program - connecting me deeply to the parkour families of Colorado Springs.
Competing internationally - providing an unshakable belief in the future of parkour and it’s opportunities.
The mission of RMPC is to foster community through the spirit of competition and create a solid foundation for our next generation.
2019- Program Development
Precision Parkour located in Honolulu invited me to lead a coaches workshop for their gym. Woodward signed on and agreed to send me to Hawai’i! This brought my attention fully to the edification of coaches and unlocking the full potential of parkour programs.
When asked to give feedback on the workshop, Precision Parkour Owner/Operator Keith Mylett said, “Matt crammed a lot of information in those two hours. He broke down skills, progressions, and coaching concerns for each movement and concept he taught…My only criticism is that two hours wasn’t enough time with Matt. He could easily fill up two days teaching various moves, progressions, and combinations from an athlete and coach viewpoint.”
The day after the workshop, I orchestrated a community jam to meet the locals.
“It was one of the biggest jams we have had on Oahu in the last year or two.” - Keith Mylett
2017 - Woodward West
Attending college in Colorado Springs, I spent my summer breaks coaching parkour at Woodward West in Tehachapi, CA.
In 2017 I came on for 4 weeks, 2018 for all 11 weeks, and 2019 for 8 weeks of sleep away summer camp.
I trained HUNDREDS of kids EACH WEEK and was exposed to Olympians, world class instructors, and state of the art training facilities.
2013 - Leadership Develops
After turning 15, I made the leap from student to instructor at SD United Training Center.
The next 3 years were nothing short of a parkour BOOM! I coached as frequently as I could with very full classes. The once “Thursday night only” program expanded to 6 days/week of all skill levels, students ranging from toddlers to adults.
2012 - Passion Sets In
My brother and I had adopted Parkour as our main hobby. With a group of friends from high school, we formed Torrey Pines Parkour and were eager to show the world what we were doing through our new YouTube channel.
As our parents became more concerned for our safety, we found a gymnastics gym where we could practice in the soft padded environment twice a week.
2010 - A Spark
The first season of the Ultimate Parkour Challenge aired on MTV. Little did I know that such a small spark could lead me on a life changing journey.
